The model 23J has a slideout compartment behind the driver's seat. The sleeper sofa slides out three feet, making for a larger living and sleeping area. There is also a bed over the cab. There is a large awing that swings out over the passenger's side for cooking or just lounging outside at the campesite.
The shower had a skylight on this unit. The interior was taupe, and they gave us the decorations - kitchen and dining items for showing on the lor and at RV shows. The day/night shades are handy: you can slide them to a tranluscent setting or make them totally opaque.
There's a generator, AC, furnace and a refirigerator that works from electricity or propane. We had the dealer install a CD player and an outside shower. We also added a towing receiver, just in case we decide to do that later on.
The 23J comes on a Ford Chassis with Ford's 6.8 L Triton V10. It is almost 25 feet long and 11 feet six inches tall. It accepts 55 gallons of gasoline and 51 pounds of propane. The fresh water tank holds 26 gallons and the black water (sewer) and gray water (sink and bath) hold 25 gallons each. The furnace supplies 25000 BTUs of heating, while the AC cools at 13500 BTU.
There is a vanity plate on the front with a baseball thrown clear of the earth and the word "Harvey" overhead. Harvey the RV might have been named for our next door neighbor, Harvey Dayton Cobb, but, in reality, the name just came about because Delphine said it one time and it stuck.

We sold Harvey the RV back to Vero Beach Chrysler where he came from back in February. We bought two Jeep Liberty SUVs from a dealer in Titusville, the sister Chrysler dealer to the one in Vero Beach.
